The Hidden Cost of Burnout (and the Restoration Ritual)
We treat rest as something earned, something to be collected after the work is done. But burnout arrives precisely because rest keeps getting postponed.
A restoration ritual is simply rest that is deliberate. A bath, a tea, a candle lit for no reason other than the quiet pleasure of it.
